Frances and Martin Jones have been invited to play as a “Swiss group” (alphorn and accordion) in Taiwan over Christmas 2011/NewYear 2012. In Taiwan, 25 December is Constitution Day, celebrating the establishment of the Constitution in 1946. 1 January is Foundation Day, celebrating the foundation of the Republic of China in 1911 following the fall of the Qing dynasty.
